Haha, thats the way

I guess I listen a fuckload to each section during the production process.. The after bouncing and an attempt at mastering i'll take it and listen on a bunch of different mediums (car stereo, headfones, tv speakers, hifi).

By then i'll have heard what i've done wrong and go back and fix whatever needs be, and listen on some different things again.. Sometimes end up making 4-5 mixdowns before I stop..

So I guess I listen to my tunes a shitload... But it's a good measure to see if it gets heaps annoying, and if it is I just fuck it off

I write music I want to hear.

I may not be listening to it closely, but subconciously I must be cos I'll start finding the bits I maybe wasn't so sure on suddenly jumping out at me.

I find that productive although there's no way on earth I could ever bosh a track out in a day...
Yup, that's what I do. Work on the tune in the evening, whack it on my mp3 player and then rinse it on the commute to and from work making mental notes of what I didn't like. Then that evening is ironing out those until I can listen to it and not spot anything I don't like. This normally goes on for 3 or 4 days!

I've taken a rather un-dubstep trip recently, though, been listening to too much oldschool rave and it's all gone a bit Prodigy/Shut Up And Dance, haha!

I reckon that's a pretty good way to be. If you don't like listening to your tunes, then you're not making the music you want to be making, surely?

You would hope that people are only making music that they want to hear.
