I've liked Jel's stuff for awhile (pre-Anticon even), but I can't really say I'm much into the other stuff. I'm just not into the whole "emo" rap approach.

noooooooooooooo

Some beats are good, a lot of the rapping is like sixth form poetry recited by people with terrible voices.

I hate slug most of all, he sounds like Dawson's Creek on a beat.

Sole vs El-P was hilarious- two fat white nerds trading polysyllables.

They're comparable in that they're both arse on the mic

El-P gets a pass because his beats are good

HELL NO, cannot understand what people see in them, why would you want to listen to some fucking weak abstract lyrics delivered with the most horrible flow/ nerdy fucking voice ever.....

BUT exceptions are jel on the mpc, cos hes sick, and slugs alright when hes just rapping straightforwardly, without all this lucy ford shit.

EL P vs Sole was hilarious, el p recording him down the phone "i just wanna be down"... pathetic.

btw el p doesnt come into the same category as anticon, he actually created a new sound while IMO keeping true to hip hop, and cann ox's 1st album is classic...

El-p is a wack ginger nerd with a flow like a constipated granda.
