this all sounds good, it's what i had in mind really. much more of a community spirit, much like the SNH really (aside from all them damn priks)

btw, is it possible to get an MC on that isn't wherever the DJ is? (if that makes sense)
i'd do it!!!! if at all possible..

I think that may be a little bit of sync problem.

i dont think that would be possible. well it probably would, but would mean whoever is streaming to shoutcast would have to have the mc streaming to them, would all get pretty confusing and technical probably

I'd say you'd host it one place with guests in the 'studio' and/or guest mixes from others to give it variety. At least then you get consistency and it is a lot easier to organise and gives the show some identity.

obviously the Manchester show would be the best

yeah that makes sense. but do you mean that the show couldn't be broadcast from someone else studio each week? that wouldn't make much sense

No - but you have to try and make sure you have a stable setup etc - nothing worse than dead air!

i reckon have one dj that will host it permanently with an mc (probably in london) and get them to play other people's submitted mixes (play a few per show.) main dj does the intro and outro every week, the rest is other people's material.

would be impractical having the show hosted from a different location every time, some people would surely have technicalities and shit so the show probably wouldn't air regularly. would be better to have the same dj and mc each week so people get familiar with that much at least

thats a good idea, like 3 x 20 min mixes

hmm suppose we could have a stable "home" for the show but stream it out to other locations occasionally. not sure i like the idea of it only ever being in one place

There’s already a few ninja shows that are London based – BAPs, MBP etc.

And host/s > mc.
