oh dear. maybe they need to go and visit south/east/west/north london and also learn alittle bit more about burials background before trying to help destroy what his music represents.

once music is out there it represents what the listener wants it to represent. the artist has no control over it. its bit of a problem with a lot of island music in general i guess. its so bloody insular its hard for people outside of the realm to get a grasp of it.

This is true but if people are going to do something which people are going to see and be influenced by they should do some more research into it. Just listening to a cd is not good enough.

Whats up with the long hair? I'd say at least 50% of guys at dubstep gigs here in NZ have shaved heads & the ones with long hair have dreads.
What can you say but "those crazy Germans aye"

LOL LET THEM RISE SON! WE'RE GONNA FIGHT FIRE WITH FIIIYYYAAA!

THEY MAY TRY AND FILL THE SCENE WITH COCAIN BUT WOT THEY NEED TO UNDERSTAND NOW IS THAT MY PEOPLE ARE ENLIGHTENED. AND CERTAIN PEOPLE HAVE BEEN PUT IN PLACE TO PROTECT US. YOU MAY NOT SEE THEM BUT THEY ARE THERE. SO LET THE "IDIOTS" COME. THEY CANT TOUCH US

EDIT: I ATTENDED A MOVEMENT AT "TIGER TIGER" LAST NIGHT AND LOTS OF CHARACTERS REVELEAD THEMSELVES TO ME. WOT U MUST UNDERSTAND IS THE QUEEN WILL TRY CONVINCE YOU, YOU ARE UNHAPPY. ACCEPT IT AND TELL HER "FUCK OFF" LOL!!!

A "THUG" WILL PHYSICALLY TOUCH YOU. DO NOT FLINCH HES RESOLVING HIS PAST BY HEALING HIMSELF THRU YOU.

THE "TOILET" IS THE PLACE TO LET THE "WATER" RUN.

RUN IN, LET OFF ALL THE TAPS AND LET THE WATER CLEANSE BABYLON. GIVE UR CHANGE TO THE BOUNCERS (THE BLACK TOILET MEN) AS THEY WILL LOVE YOU BECAUSE U HAVE MADE THEM ENLIGHTENED!

it might be important to consider that the journalists observed somethin unusual. Unlike Gothic or Ravescenes e.g. there is no particular dress connected to the dubstep scene. That's why they wanted to develop some ideas.

We'll see if some businessmen and trend scouts have been woken up......haha
Damn, I like it that uncomplicated and unconventionalized way....

The same could be said for dnb or soemthing like that though...I don't really think it is unusual?- and if you had to dress a dubstepper stereotype it would just be jeans, some deep Nikes, t-shirt, maybe flat cap, can o lager, spliff ends etc...don't think there will ever be that much of a market for fashion in dubstep except for the occasional t-shirts etc.

Also, I'm not gonna bring up the stupid "they don't get the point of Burial's music" debate...just if they were living in S. London, I think their interpretations of an artist like that would be very different, if at all concerned with fashion. As it is, Berlin has a different culture and view of these things and I think the designs they made, while not in the slightest bit adoptable as a norm, are definately interesting in portraying the music.

Theres nothing wrong with fashion designers, if you ask me its an art. Not all the time do i think "yeh i wanna wear that", well hardly ever. But thats not the point anyway.

Now if you wanted to roll your eyes at trendy clothes shops and the people who wear what their best mate is only with a different coloured hat, im down with it.

seems like some people are putting WAY too much thought into it or taking it too too personally. theyre just some designers doing their thing. if you dont like it do something different or stfu or who gives a shit artist/designers can interpret albums however they want.
