That's a good one, something I've wondered about a lot too. Makes more sense if it's an ascending hierarchy, doesn't it? In all likelihood we might've done it just to piss everyone off and be different, like how we react when people say "metric system" - like someone just said a dirty word. Heh.

to be fair... garridge (ukg) came about from paradise garage, which was american and therefore pronounced stupidly. we can object to them pronouncing the garage in ukg stupidly tho.

it comes on all iLife packages on Mac computers.
