But, if you have a gentlemans agreement over the tune then you have to stick by it. It aint all about the money fella as Chef already explained. And the big deal is the fact someone went behind the others back and tried to earn a quick buck.

It's really unfortunate this has happened. I cant understand the logic as all it will do is effect Doctors credibility. He might be making a quick buck, but then what? Producers will surely be a bit weary of working with him now.

I think he was trying to say that if you do support the bogus release then it will set a precident. Its not right what has happened, so why support it?

Money will always be a factor but in this case, the way its been released, the principle of it is far greater. If it was purely a money matter when I dont think we would be getting two releases of the same song.

Well im guessing the Bass Face one will be transition pressing and the GPP one isn't (what with Chefs involvement). so more reasson to buy bassface

i'm 17. After hearing what you and others have said i understand that money isn't the problem but i do still find it hard to believe that its not even in cotti's mind.

man , how would you feel if you made a tune , a random mate of you comes by and wanna adds some vocals , fine , and then a while after release YOUR tune on HIS label ?

I'm not sure it's fair judge someone's realness and commitment to dubstep on what release they own. Many people (myself included) bought the GPP release unaware of this whole backstory just because its a good tune whatever the label.

I would have waited for Bass Face to deliver tho had I known all this before and I'm sure many other oblivious buyers of the GPP release would have done the same. I just thought I was buying another promo.

Ahh this is really sad to hear, but I can understand people fighting to release this tune, its absolute fire!!!!
