i would agree with sticking to discogs, but then again, you wont see forthcoming stuff there which is the main and biggest reason i do want to see a label sub-forum here. very useful if you ask me

at the same time 67 votes is not really a big input.
gwan peeps, give us your thoughts and votes about that
we really want to know what dubstepforum users are thinking about that before doin anything on that topic

i don't want to miss releases infos, so putting them in one, seperate subforum is a good idea to keep them alive..

The main forum just isn't active enough to warrant it. You only have to scroll down maybe half a page to see all the threads made in the past day.

I think it would be too competitive people trying to keep their topics bumped up.
But rolling threads would be better and less clutter and allows people to bookmark that page if they are waiting a status update....also I wonder how long it would be before someone posts two threads about one vinyl advertising each side.

I voted YES, but I'd like to qualify that by saying that, NO RELEASE INFORMATION, MIXES, ETC should be allowed to be posted in the wrong forum, no matter how powerful or self-important you think you are..
Not naming names, but they generally can be found near the top of flyers for Dubstep shows.
So if there are rules, ENFORCE THEM FAIRLY, unlike now.
Otherwise, don't be a tnuc and just let people post wherever... all or nothing, I guess.

Just to buck the trend here...but shouldn't it be that if the releases are the most interesting and most important part of the scene (and they are aren't they?!) then they should be in the main forum?
Or maybe we have a releases sub-forum, but have it accessible from the top of the main forum page, not just on the index?
