If your interested in mastering or just want to see rack after rack of incredible equipment.
He always cuts away everything under 30hrtz and above 17-18khrtz
I tried cutting away stuff under 30 hrtz but none of my eq's have a steep enough response to do the job without affecting the 30-60 hrtz area. I've tried abletons Eq 8, Autofilter and Bombfactory SC-226 Can anyone recommend a steep filter slope EQ?
Izotope Ozone has an eq thats capable. Just turn it from analogue to digital mode and you can create vertical cuts

Thanks both of ye. I'll do a A/b comparison of both at 30hrtz if I can without spending money

(demos people, back in your box!!) and I'll report which model has the least/most favourable colouration in my opinion. Actually as daft as richie looks some of the nerdier pics of him on a google search made me think......yeah fuck it richie do a big mad blondy fringe, knock yourself out.

I'm a fan of Richie he's a bit of a legend.

that's how reverb used to be. Same with the original plate reverb, they actually fed the signal through massive metal plates.
I've got an old furman spring reverb, not as beasty as that thing in the vid but its pretty cool for hi hats and stuff. And wicked for oldschool guitar. Best thing is it never sounds exactly the same twice, has a bit of a mind of it's own.
Was thinking of building my own flippo-verb actually, all sorts of different springs and shit, mix levels between them. Don't really ahve the time though

Rob Acid is a very nice guy and he makes good and fantastic sounding music. And his mastering prices are quite good, compared to others.
I would kill to have such a studio!

rob acid is a badman, very cool styles. blending compressed with dry signal is a great idea, under-used medium. he got skills! does he program for reaktor too? swear i seen his name on the forums and in the patches...

You won't learn shit from hanging out with Sven Väth. All of his albums were wrote by the same guy (
http://www.ralfhildenbeutel.com/), who produces also music like that:

Same thing with DJ Hell by the way, too. And Ellen Allien.

Yeah, he does a lot of presets for Reaktor. I especially remember his presets for Reaktor 3, because i could listen for them just like tracks.
