Electro/Detroit Electro/Electro funk seems to have pretty much died off as a scene which is a shame. I mean there is electro house or whatever its called but I wouldn't at all put it in the same boat as the likes Cybotron, Newclues, Aux 88, Drexciya etc etc etc. For example one time electroempire.com was bussling with activity now its totally dead.

Personally I like to see more styles under one roof at parties. I think its a shame that nights have to be one genre or another.

Not in Norwich, Manchester or Glasgow, that's for sure.

No, be serious, we might be on to something here. In fact I think we should stop listening to dubstep RIGHT NOW just to be on the safe side.

i thought it was the other way round.....

The last dubstep night i went to I walked into the drum and bass room and walked straight back out again......

I think drum and bass has had its day.....

I agree. Had this convo with Phaze n we thing Dubstep is a future music now, like DnB was. More people are interested in it because its so new. Thats why DnB producers are moving to Dubstep, its another creative output because at the end of the day producers love to produce!

We played in Nottingham a few months ago in the 2nd room, got booked again n we were in the main room, DnB moved out the way!

I'd agree with a few posts on this thread, the real dead one is DnB.
