Haha, the Bloomberg Admin is "considering forming a task force to examine the issue". That's great! I'm picturing Bloomie all done up with a candy necklace, pacifer, glow sticks et al. Clumsily dropping them outside Cielo or whatever. He's conducting "research" for his Dept. of All-Night Clubbing and Entertainment (or D.A.N.C.E., as some flunkie has brown-nosed his way into acceptance.) There he is is like Al Pacino in Cruising. He tries to wrangle all his shotgun bureaucratic inner-whines from fire code violations to wondering maybe he's making money of some hidden stock that owns the soundwaves themselves. The latter is abstract because he allowed himself a red-eye at Starbucks; he was trying to fit in and attain a state of altered consciousness and succeeding albeit placebo. He attempts, what in the end is quite disturbing and tragic to witness, a glow-stick dance. This attracts enough attention for everyone to see him immediately poke himself in the eye. As he stumbles, temporarily blinded by his own hand, he inadvertently gropes a beautiful woman, of course, getting him ejected from the club. They do not believe him when he whines, "But I'm the Mayor, bruv! I'm the Mayor!"; they cannot recognize him though the pink Lennon-specs, Rasta wig-hat, and the unfortunate decision to wear sparkles. Since it is only 10:15 pm, he heads home thinking "Maybe, that law is in place for a reason".[/quote]
