whats going on, I was at camp bisco and I attended the dubwar set an had a fucking blast. I was searching for some live dubwar and came across this thread... had to post, the show totally melted my brain. the energy level was off the charts in that tent it was probably the best act I caught all weekend. Ive only ever heard a few skream tracks before so that was all I knew of dubstep, but now I need more that show was AMAZING, me and my crew had a great time getting down.
are there any upcoming shows in/around manhattan? anyhwere I can listen or downlaod a live set or even some of the tracks that were spun?

It was amazing to watch people go from a slow headnod to a skank then soon after full on bassface after about 5 tunes in....
What you're talking about is exactly the reason why I went up there to check this sound on a totally new crowd made up of mostly phish and deadies. It was totally worth it.
same situation-went to syracuse to see the brother do an after-after party a few weeks ago....and it was all trance and dnb and stuff...these kids didnt know dubstep-and when he went on...the dancefloor cleared out. we got to skanking and having fun and then the whole crowd came back on the dancefloor and went nuts. seriously so intense to see that happen...minds open. needless to say these kids are now eatin it up and lovin it...hes been up there since too...just love spreadin it. making them all full addicts

meh

fucking bullshit they put you in the tent, during the day, and had shadow cut in on your set.
did you get a chance to hear the bass coming from the hill? no offence but sound in the tent was shit. pretty pissed when i saw you weren't out on the hill.
decided not to go to any more jam band festivals after that weekend.

too bad the soundguy dropped the ball
some of those midrange frequencies were piercing the fuck out of my eardrums.
some of the kick drums sounded mad funky, that was the range of the problem IMO.
got down hard as hell tho, too bad about the needle jumpin.

soundguy not on target.
and just in case you missed this:
Oregon resident, Jonathan Taylor, is sitting in Schenectady County custody after being arrested this past weekend at the Disco Biscuits curated Camp Bisco festival. Found on Taylor was over 14,000 hits of acid and $17,000 in cash.
After making it through the camp check point, Taylor made it all the way to Saturday night until security seized the man and handed him over to the state police. Some “alert” concert-goers were allegedly the ones to turn Taylor over – quite odd considering most people were probably thriving off the hallucinogen at this festival.

yeah thats what i meant by sound was shit. not the system's fault, the sound guy's fault.
looked like they had an advanced setup too. too bad he had probably been listening to ear shattering rock music for 3 days and had completely lost any clue of what things actually sounded like.
