I love mine a year after I got it. Best mobile phone ever for user experience and ease of use (although some people pride themselves in learning devices that are a pain in the arse to use) and has pretty much negated me having to take a laptop with me on holiday. All the games and apps coming out now make it even better.

a phone is a phone. why waste so much money on the high priced phones when they break a yr or two later? If you're a businessman, then i'd rec a blackberry and get a high priced plan so you dont waste money or internet useage.

I'm not paying for it, it's a free upgrade. And the cost of internet usage is included in my monthly tariff. (It says this in my first post) And if it breaks in a year, it won't matter because i'll be eligble for the next upgrade

i got myself the 32 gig ipod touch (same as iphone without the phone or camera), and its sweeeeet. video quality is awesome and you get the wifi capabilities with safari and shit. on the downside, you can't install any apps like you can on the iphone, only widgets (like you have on your mac).

but i love it. i got all my pictures on it, films and loads of clips, shitloads of music, plus i can go online and check emails, go on my forums, GPS shit, etc... i really like it. plus, wheneva i have to wait (bus, work, queu, watever), i just bang on a music vid or a family guy, its awesome. i don't regret buying it. but i suggest you wait for something with better memory. 8 gig sounds a bit short...

I got the 8GB Black iPhone 3G the day they come out and must say its amazing.

pretty sure you can jailbreak the ipod touch. google it.

yep tried doing it on jailbreak site, but totally fucked up my ipod. i got this wrong error screen when turning it on. freaked me out btu i managed to undo that. am a bit sceptial now of trying that again unless you know of a decent working jailbreak...
