A few more things worthy of checking out cumbia wise ZZK Records is definately the font of cumbia cool in bs as. The compilations are reccomended for an introduction.
Caught El Remolón the other night and he was impressive. Some banging reworkings of known songs (Modeselektor, Animal Collective, that track which takes the piss out of Minimal). Soon to be released for free download on the ZZK site.
Also Chancha Via Circuito is about to release an album, good stuff coming from this guy. Check out Douster n all
