i use an Echo MIA 24/96 card from 2002 and it has a really great DAC. no complaints here. the drivers are SOLID and the support is excellent.

an Echo AudioFire is in my future for live PA.

I'd say go apogee or RME if it's really a high priority, otherwise the m-audio boxes are pretty cheap these days and work for tons of producers that release tunes.

Yesyes! wicked little thing! Perfect for doing mixtapes . . .
Been talking about getting this korg used from a friend many years now and I finally managed to get there . . .

my first mixtape on it here . . .

It got pretty good reviews all over and for $195.00, it seems like a good price.
