1996- This is the missing link between deep house and the dark dubstep vibe. Play this out at any house event, and people will dance. It's even better to listen to on the headphones while working on something. There's substance to the groove. Doesn't get boring... it almost seems like you played the bass synth while recording the entire track, I swear I heard little differences in there throughout the song. Good start.

Mako- Interesting use in effects. The intro to this song was deceiving, in a good way. When it dropped I was just dropped into the wave.

Beserker- Heavy vibe. Full mix. Almost too repetitive- then it gets nuts. Nice sounds, a full spectrum. I listened LOUD and got a feeling similar to what I feel when I listen to really good tunes :D

Bunker- Nod your head. Davwuh commands you. Again, sound design follows suit... Interesting and consistent style and sound. Rolling percussion.

Into Acid- This song is well written, I felt that the distorted bassline could have used more presence and really pushed the beat- it kind of sounds secondary in the mix. Percussion and pads/fx on point.

Disused Trainyard- Dubby monster! Some crazy effects in this tune... The lead sounds like it's happening next door. All in all, very original and well done.

Opression- This intro really changed my mood about 'How I feel about what's going on in the room right now.' Powerful track. Moody. Well, kinda just pissed off. The song never resolves, it kind of just disappears into a genie lamp and leave you wondering when it's gonna come back. Badass.

Mind Control- Hypnotizing. I will finish this review, and it will be good

The Beginning of the End- Very epic tune. I don't want to listen because it's true. I think that's what you were going for. Nice.

Unforgiven- I'm not sure if it's just me, but it seems like this is the second track that doesn't sound that interesting at low volume, but when you turn it up, it's heavy as hell. I really like the moodiness of this album. All of the tracks definitely share an album vibe. Nicely panned and delayed lead in the background.

Pig-Pen- Just the fact that I got the title as I listened makes this one a winner. Cool tune, the bass is thick and the melody pushes you forward.

Blackmarket- Definitely a sweet intro. This track hits you in the chest. The percussion does the job. The sounds of crowd disorient you while the bass pushes you around- it's like being at Seaworld on Labor Day. That's a good thing... I think.

This album is pretty well done man, I would pay for it. I think a lot of the areas I noted for improvement would be affected greatly if you were to have this mastered professionally... So in other words, I have no areas for improvement for you. Keep making music- I'm looking forward to your new stuff already!

good album, varied, interesting....nice progression of trax

into acid is the fatty dancefloor tune for me - gonna play it on the radio today (thursdays 4-6pm GMT)

mako is also wicked

most of the rest are a bit too chilled / spacey for me - coming for a drumnbass / ragga / breaks background i like my tunes pretty full on - i would listen to the album while working / smokin out but i think into acid & mako is the only one i would play to a crowd

respect for putting a whole album online for free download

i run a music publishign company ( www.maiplues.com ) if you're interested in having someone on board for royalty collection

1996

I'm feeling this one its a nice opener with some really deep parts and a wicked acidy growling bass in there too. The drums have a jungle kinda vibe, its wicked. I was feeling that last drop as well.

Mako

The kick is pretty massive sounding but I'm really feelin the rest of it so far, apart from the key change type part which gives it some energy.

Beserker

Is that a Clerks referance? I really like the badass bass on this one, the tentsion in the track is wicked. The gun loading sampes work a treat too. I'm feelin the strings. Nice work.

Bunker

some nice string action again and the dubby ragga drums are pretty cool. It drops into soem serriously dirty business that I reckon would get heads nodding and people skanking at a rave.

Into Acid

the synths at the beginin are nice as is the bass and kicks. agin you drop into some dirty stuff, I like the tweakin you have done with the growly bass. Its nice and hypnotic as well.

Disused Trianyard

Has some nice bass wieght and I like what you have done with those train sounds.

Oppresion

Brings out a more soulful and ghostly vibe, I like that alot. This album flows nicely as well man good work.

Mind Control

has a nice bass wobble and the strings are wicked again. Although they did remind me a little bit of the Verve or at least Unkle heheh.

The Begining of the end

I like thistrack it has a mad hypnotic begining that reminds me of cars by gary numan a litle bit. But in a bass rave music kind of way. The vocal samples are wicked is it NiN?.

Unforgiven

It sounds like you have recorded a little fire or somthing at the begining thats pretty cool. I'm all for field recorsings adding atmosphere. I like the bass on this after the drop.

Pig-Pen

has some good bits but I don't like some of the sounds like the twangy bass bit. Again your strings and atmospherics are very nice.

Blackmarket

I like the bongo sounds and the bass. The vocals are pretty creepy nice one. I reckon this is one of my favourites.

Overall its nice album flows really well and has some wiced tracks. It's not completly my thing, but you are doing your thing well. Keep it up dude ;)

Thanks for reviewing it, glad you enjoyed it :)

And aye that's a NIN acapella, the actual tune by NIN is called The Beginning of The End too, its a remix of it but if you listen to the original tune you'll find it sounds nothing like my version lol. There's just sounds like a rock out tune, whereas mine I tried to make it sound more like the title than the original did

Safe anyway 8)
