I've been a bit slack recently, anything by Philip K dick usually makes for a good read though.

So true but some more than others. PKD deserves a whole thread of his own really. Still looking forward to the A Scanner Darkly movice with bated breath.

Damn. My hat's off to anyone that can read Foucault w/o giving themselves a brain hemmorage. I still have a half-read copy of "Power/Knowledge" that I'm trying my damndest to get through and comprehend.

A book called shed crew. set in Leeds in the 90's. proper grimey.This guy helps these runaway kids and puts them up and he trys conquering his demons but he can not do it without helping these little pitrats. it is touching and makes you think about kids that have fallen out of the system.

I read both of those too, great books. haven't got a clue about the philosophy behind it all - existentialism an that- but i love his writing style.

someone told me that i should read kafka but i read the trial and didnt get that at all. straight over my head... i need stuff to be pointed out to me straight and clear - animal farm's more like it!

it's pretty damn interesting, and what's more...i was interviewed for it...so there's that...

that jung book is a pretty damn good one tho.
