theres a venue in dover that i have done events in before, the landlord seems quite up for tryin new stuff down there. dover is the residence of me suspect and stenchman so we would gladly put on a night if people would travel. maybe the bovninyl launch party would be the perfect event to get a few heads down?

Thats who you gotta look for guys sittin in the pub week after week wandering whats missing in their lives :D

Whatever club it is, it needs a good system long time Dubsteppers will be looking for a decent system.

Let us know what your thinking D_low.
The source bar is exactly the sort of place I am thinking of.

I will approach them by the end of the week the sound system there is good and has the right underground fell to it.

We are thinking of gettin in contact with Oneman to play on the night and obviously we would like to showcase local talent.

This could be the start of something guys

Lol at the idea of dubstep at the Bizz - used to hear garage there back in the day but that was in an "anthem trance upstairs, cheesy garage and rnb downstairs" sort of way.

I think Alberry's does a dnb night, so they might put something on. Although I'm guessing their system isn't quite up there with Iration...

You best let us know too D as we're fairly local and will support a Dubstep night. ;)

Whats the club in Maidstone, used to go there for DnB back in the day, was a wikid club but quite big so the event would have to pack in people but it would be waaay cool to go to a Dubstep night there, spent many a messyingle there!

Few scary mary situations in that carpark too! God bless boy racers thats all I'm gonna say ;)

I got an email from the kentuni.com people saying:
"We will also be introducing a new night ‘Multiverse’ which offers an insight into the underground music scene. Expect high quality dub, D&B, Psy Trance and Breaks. It all kicks off on Monday 22nd September in the Lighthouse."
Anyone know anything about this/ if its gonna be a decent event or not?

Kent is a joke for dubstep. At least Folkestone is anyhow. I only know one other person into it, and it's only cos I introduced it to him! Everyone else either isn't really interested, or they haven't got a clue. It's kinda depressing sometimes. It's like the sound only exists in my head.

It's not just dubstep though, all underground music is poorly catered for imo. But its only cos there ain't the demand for it.
