TBH, none of these are really anything like Boxcutter & iTAL tEK like the man requested. They're just all very "alternative". Not too sure about Ikonika at the mo though. Experimental as fuck, but not really feeling it. Pangaea is God and no-one does bass quite like Marlow. It's like listening to an earthquake!

May I also mention ScanOne and Nagual Sound Experiment (also not much like Boxcutter and iTal tEK, but everyone has their own style. That's what's so great about dubstep.)

Oh, and Milanese.
Milanese sounds less like them than the people i suggested...Gravious & Geiom are very close to Boxcutter's sound & besides he was asking for dubstep that avoids the wobble cliches & goes deeper..ital tek is different to Boxcutter anyway..

In essence, that's what I'm pretty much looking for. Not to say I don't love the wobble, but some producers use it to the point of self-parody. Know what I'm saying?

yeah totally...I love all kinda of dubstep but it depends on my mood to an extent...I can listen to some tunes that might be called wobble all day long though...jahova is sublime....the new headhunter LP is very very subtle & excellent headphone music
