I dunno if I should even be feeling like this since I don't dj or produce @ all. But, seriously, you can't expect to get free tunes the first time you ask. Getting a tune shouldn't always be that easy to get/receive. Its something you should work for. This music doesn't bring in the big money like other genres do. Having enough people into it is always good, but that still doesn't mean it doesn't need @ least a little bit of money to keep it going + expand.

this forum isn't the place for "swapping" by the way. it's not your personal marketplace.

there's a lot of producers on this forum. if you think you have something to swap which would be of mutual benefit feel free to pm people and discuss things. just perhaps not best to embark upon topics like this for everyone to read and get annoyed at.

this maybe true, but the first couple posts did come off rather like he just wanted some free tunes that he couldnt (or didnt want to) pay for...which has been discussed ad nauseam, and would obviously ruffle some feathers.

no offense, but it sounds like you just heard about dubstep and, for some reason or another, want to make some tunes.
you cant expect to just be fed some tunes and reference them like a formula. you really should learn more about the music/culture...
check out the production forum for tunes being posted for feedback and good luck

You'll find more at barefiles than almost anywhere else (apart from maybe inside Skream's head) so I'm not sure what the issue is....
