Bumping this cos I can :P

I've started playing as 'Evil Kins' now, and it's like a whole different game. I think I'm lost around 100 hours of my life to this game, and there's no sign of it letting up. Will I be able to sue Bethesda when my work and personal life collapses around me, as a result of this game?

And Dubluke, glad you finally saw the light :)

Made my mate rent it cause he wasn't to sure as oblivion wasn't to good (deffo not as good as morrowind imo)

I got a txt this morning.

"fallout 3 is the one.....Serious....To much I ain't slept yet and I got a full day of lectures."

I am still battering this, going around making all the nutty weapons and doing the side quests! Just waiting for some mods to be made (for PC version) or some expansions to be confirmed!

OH and..

Sledgehammer + combat shotgun or stfu!!

For those what didn't do the worse thing in megaton.. (saving spolier talk) has anyone managed to get enough bad karma to get that Jericho guy to tag along with you?

i intend to be able to launch exocet missiles with it by the time i've finished

but yeah, want something reasonably future proof. i'd also quite like fruity not to crash if i've got more than 3 VSTs open at the same time

I'm a bad motherfucker with the heavy weapons skill. What I do is take my Fat Man with me to the top of the tower in the morning, make sure the actual geezer who owns the place is there (Twopenny), get out my Fat Man, aim at the floor, save it, and then blow us both into oblivion.

It's fun watching our smoldering bodies cascade off the top of the tower in elegant slow-motion.

And it's satisfying to watch our helpless corpses then crash into the unforgiving cobbles, tables and chairs below.

*Wanks*

Ahem - Tenpenny - Ahem. :P

I've got the suite there now, it was my reward for blowing up Megaton (which, was quite impressive, I must say).

Thinking of killing Tenpenny too though - what sort of prick just stand on a balcony sniping randoms?

Ah, TenPenny, my mistake!

Yeah, I know, innit. But you know you actually get good karma if you murder him in cold blood?

the game is fucking amazing. gorgeous game! I've played as a good guy, and now im playing as an evil one, and i have to say, being a slaver is dope! I love when the come up to me and say "respect".. hahaha!

i've let off a bit lately to get some tunes done, but the games more dangerous than crack - and bethesda announced the construction set (the GECK) coming out this month.. fuck man, are we gonna see fallout 3 renditions of fallout 1 and 2? that would be sickness.. not to mention the expansions they're working on.

dear god i'm in love.

everything is absolutely amazing and awesome until you start to run into the walls

ending,

you can't level past 20!

can't kill children,

you guys gotta get yourselves some mods, that's very important

there's one called robco certified that lets you repair and control an army of robots. yes, even mr. gutsy and the sentry bot

unfortunately, I had to start a new game for this feature, and playing the storyline twice is BORING.

I give it 7/10 for blatant stupidity washing down all the good parts

My theory is that they're just gonna release a cheap sequel (that fixes all the stupid stuff) in a year or so. They make this one just good enough for everyone to buy it and just crappy enough for everyone to buy the sequel.

at least I only played it for a week straight as opposed to still playing it 2 weeks later

playing my second time through without touching the man quest line - its epic epic epic,

game is so large its unreal.

I mean, Oblivion was large but most parts were just Ctrl-V'ed from other parts of the game, this stuff is all unique.

Has anyone found the nuke launch facility?

Gamestation are (maybe "were") doing this for 19.99 or 24.99 for the special edition version. I was up friday night until 9am saturday morning working on an essay, submitted it and fell asleep only to wake up at midday because my dog wanted to piss. Thought I'd treat myself to a new game and trekked it into town.. got to Gamestation and the STUPID RED HEAD FUCKING TART tnuc id'd me and wouldnt sell it to me because i didnt have my passport/license.

Couldn't believe it. Bastard bitch. Havent bee id'd for fucking alcohol let alone games in about 5 years.

Luckily my mate was in town and bought it for me! (Still havent played it, lol, probably start it tomorrow..)
