I remember seeing vaccine & ASC out on the town back when I worked at the beehive in san diego
always seemed so humble
reinforcing that humility is a great key to success in the music biz and life in general!
biggups you both!
*can't wait for the LP!

Yes please.Wax my balls.
I don't remember any nightclub called that.I do know a waxing/tanning place under that name in Carlsbad.
I was more a Loft/World Beat Center/Casbah/Velvet/Brick By Brick/SOMA(both the original and the newer)/Therapy/Underworld/Soil kind of guy.I wouldn't be surprised if Christine ever went to those places. Some of the best raves I ever went to in SD were at the Loft and WBC!!!And if you ever knew the tag team of Jeff Scott and Steve Pagan, you'll know what I'm referring to!
EDIT:
Did you mean the old Honey Beehive bar by SDCC near C&14th?That I remember, but not as a nightclub. Is it still there?

The Beehive is a "sushi lounge" now I believe, but that's the place on C.

I'm afraid of SD sushi places.Too many bad experiences and associations.
I used to live at Columbus and Broadway many moons ago.Worked at salons in Horton Plaza too.
Did you ever go to any of the places I mentioned?(Though...you might be quite a bit younger than I.

yeah thats the place, it's still there
I moved from north county when I was 21 so I missed getting my sack waxed (unlike Mr. Echo Wanderer lol)
but yeah, it's still there
and the sushi chef is on point so dont be scrrd!!
back to what this thread is REALLY all about...
I listened to
meditate on bass weight when Christine first dropped it
I waited until I had some shroomies and made some tea
it's truly an epic mix!

this mix:
(19:11) Scuba - "Brown" [forthcoming Hotflush]
(22:48) Telefon Tel Aviv - "I Lied" [Hefty]
from the august 2006 mix...still one of my favorites EVER.

I knew that, that's why the

I was pretty happy when I found that mix, thank you. Try "Bubble and Spike" with "Wormsign" - also perfectly in key. Though the beats sound wonky...
PS. NEW STUDIO MIX (with things I actually want to play, rather than a bunch of stuff I kind of like but defaulted into to meet a deadline) COMING NEXT MONTH OR IN JANUARY.

yes Vaccine! i've only got 1 or 2 more records to find! "Breathless" is one of my top tracks. i've got 2 copies now. she even spends more time than she probably should chatting about with people! ;p
i think there was something about an album? that would be wonderful indeed.
