I think as far as lazyness goes, using an already present synth, making up to 5 mouse clicks and a turning a knob would be less labour intensive than downloading and installing software.

nah freeware vst is like max of 3-4 clicks to get installed

Demo clips on the website sure do sound like shit... If I get bored tonight I might check it out. But I'm willing to bet I can make a better Reese with just about anything.
