nearly slept on this, so glad i bought it tho after hearing it on decent rig,

Noting the represses and its placement on a few best of 2008 lists, I'm pretty sure it didn't get slept on.

was a bit meh about this release at first but listening to it on a nice sunny day with a big bag of lemon has improved it no end

Wouldn't that have the same effect on most records? I always by records when drunk/high or listening to them at full volume, then get really disappointed when they i sober up.
