that is in Australian $, so probably only around 140us. not using them for mixing, mess around with producing but nothing serious at the moment. just want some real good quality sound.Product wrote:i didn't think those went over $200, look around a bit more

around £120 sterling usually i think, exchange rates are fucked up at moment though..

Sony has just launched/announced a new range of headphones that are said to produce high quality bass at low frequencies to provide a club feel. Sounds good but prices haven’t been released yet so I’m reserving judgement until then.

i had a pair of those for ages, absolutely love them. Really big & comfy, although they struggle a bit in really loud clubs. I just upgraded to these:nattyphysicist wrote:For djing, I use sennheiser HD280. They have great isolation.

I have a pair of sennheiser HD215, which are great, but for dubstep I'm starting to use my sennheiser eh150's which have great bass on them, and only cost me a score. Probably not the best for production though.

sennheiser HD-25 best headphones ive ever used.
Really comfortable, nice flat response, sick low end and not fiddly like some of the ones with swivelly cans or too chunky like some of the others in a similar price range.
plus get the version with the coiled cable and you can move around with them on without having a huge cable dangling around and getting tangled up.
