If you like deeper darker Drum & Bass check out my page with recent mixes on.

I agree alot of recent D&B (Jump-up) is terrible but you'll find most people that know anything about their D&B would agree.

The Filthcast's are incredible.

I'm particularly enjoying a couple of lads called Gancher and Ruin at the minute.

Look 'em up. Two 16 year old brothers making some wicked, really rolling, techno infused D n B. It's so pacey you should have to dance.

It's all about the darkside of D n B now anyway - London Electricity, Cyantific, High Contrast et al are all a bit shit really - Not a pair of balls between them.

Yeah listening to most High Contrast tracks is actually painful to me.

To me the D'n'B from 10-12 years ago sounds miles ahead of the stuff being released today.

chase & status is pure cheddar man i admit to liking it when i first heard it but wouldnt rate it anymore!!

it all depends on the type of dnb you like!!

i personally like ALL kinds, from jungle to jump up to techy rollers...

i admit some have noticably more sophistication than others, such as

Phace - Cold Champagne compared to Hsist - Dusty Bin (listen to them and it will be obvious which one is which)

but it all depends on your scenario!! Dusty Bin is epic at raves, where as Cold Champagne is not.

I'm getting quite into stuff like:

Dave Akuma
Gasmask 71
Titan Zero
Limewax
TZA
Current Value

At the moment, surely not everyones cup of tea but I've always liked the darker side of things when it comes to DNB.

just saw fanu kill it in sf, first time i've been out to some dnb since remarc at least a year ago came thru and it was awesome and he played a variety of stuff. what really stuck out where the warm pads and vocal tunes with crazy choppage. awesome. who else is doing shit like that? feeling that track by breakage "the 9th hand" on planet mu too. any suggestions? i'm new to the sound and am easily overwhelmed. thanks!
