Please......don't. I beg you, if you're doing a joy division remix, delete it.. They're WAY to amazing for a dubstep remix.

yeah candidate is the one, but "Love Will Tear" wouldn't make good dubstep at all. too quick and not dark enough. not dissing the tune, but better Joy Division song for a dubstep cover.Badga Tek wrote:Its hard to imagine how a dubstep version of any Joy Division tune would be anything but bollocks.

I have to agree with the people who think Joy Division dubstep could work, but not necessarily with Love Will Tear Us Apart. Hell, if the Perceptionists can sample Joy Division for a hiphop track and make it work (see "What Have We Got to Lose"), using Joy Division in dubstep should be easy.

i'll have to dig it up, but there is already a dubstep "love will tear us apart" cover floating out there somewhere, a couple years old.
