Yeah if El-B or DPR are seeking to take dubstep somewhere new then, I'm afraid, they're failing pretty dramatically. Also, is it a coincidence that most recent dubstep stuff from Horsepower (that Kuma remix aside) and Zed Bias has been relatively underwhelming?
Don't get me wrong though, I've got nothing but love for those guys' old stuff. Absolutely legendary

I'd say a lot of the DPR were pretty damn fresh, especially the Dubchild and Daega! And a lot of the recent El-B and Roxy tracks have been next level at least as far as production goes...

off topic but there's a cleaner at my school who lives on my street who looks like exactly el-b but he's a punk, always wearin DK shirts (dead kennedy's for those who don't know and if you don't know check them out, amazing band, extremely longwinded this is and now yoda style sentence structure sets in oh dear)

I'd be interested to hear his latin house stuff, tbh I haven't been blown away by any of his dubstep bits (though some have been good) but if he doesn't even like the music as a whole than it's only to be expected.

Will he be playing garage/dubstep at the FWD launch?
