personally thought it was a bit of fun.. all my mates seem to enjoy it. and the music was pretty hot too.. was nice to drop in for a bit of D&B and smoking outside was a nice atmosphere.

spoke with a couple of girls there and they found it a bit much.. i guess it is not to everyone's taste but props for trying it.. was so astonished seeing them there really to be honest!!

Can we have Chippendales next then please? I hate all that shit (as do a lot of women no doubt) but it would be jokes to see how the men in the dance react.

I wouldn't mind seeing strippers and for all those that say "it's about the music" well yeah it is and if your distracted by strippers that you don't even want there then I don't think that's being "all about the music". Same thing goes for all the stuff about emo kids at raves etc or any other people for that matter, if you are more concerned what other people are doing (within reason of course, pushing is annoying) than listening to the music then your clearly not that into the music. Last time I checked you listened with your ears not your eyes.

Yeah i could lighten up, but you can't claim i'm not into the music. I close my eyes sometimes when i'm in to a track, but i also watch the DJ or MC like a lot of people. Strippers on stage are about as easy to ignore as a fight, and they weren't responding to the music in any way. When the crowd are jeering at the girls rather than supporting the DJ, that's a big distraction.

My feeling about it was more about the fact that I felt like it spoilt the vibe and the music became secondary, there wasn't the atmosphere that you get on a good night where the crowd is all getting into the music together. I'm not going to be such a hypocrite as to pretend that I don't like good looking women, but I think it wasn't such a great idea, and I reckon a lot of the girls who paid £15 to get in and were obliged to look at what a stripper had for lunch would have been pissed off. Gender politics isn't simple, but if you put strippers on at a music event you are potentially alienating half your audience. Sorry to harp on about it, Koast, my $0.02

We both finished making our points a while back and it was settled. I'm just tryin to defend myself against someone saying i'm not in to music when i've been going to underground clubs for the last 13 years. It was people like Mary Whitehouse who tried to crush the whole scene in the first place by shutting down raves. Yeah maybe i'm old fashioned if i've been around that long, and prefer straight up music. I acknowledge that they were trying something different, it's just not for me.

Such a big night.

Came up for my 22nd birthday with a good few heads from Cardiff, only a few of which (maybe 4/5) are in to dubstep. The ones not in to dubstep had a wicked night and enjoyed the alternative music in the other rooms but they also had a good skank to the dubstep on offer. It was also really nice to see how different the night is, little things like a giant penguin on the stage, strippers and wicked visuals all showed how much thought and effort are put in by the promoters.

The strippers thing was funny to be fair, noticeably a few of the mc's were distracted but it was jokes.

Coki for me was the highlight of the night, started with 'dry cry' which went off. Hatcha killed it, crazy D was sick live. Also quite enjoyed MA Hobbs as she dropped a few of the big tunes. Does any one know the name of the tune with the sample of the Run Dmc tune 'beginning' (one two three, in the place to be, as it is plain to see, he is the dj...') Thought the MC's were all good too, Stamina, SP and Dread.

Motion is a sick venue too, was a bit cold in there though!

Big ups to spree + ram and all the peguin dance crew for a sick night. Look forward to more in the future.
