Oh, I'm well aware of that, man. It used to bother me, but if people are too hung up on that (as well as the other various manifestations of his influence) to enjoy my tunes, that's their problem.

At the end of the day, I'm not making tunes to please other people. Of course it's nice when people say they're feelin' them, but I mainly aim to please myself. I straight up got into making this shit BECAUSE Hyperdub be frontin'.

I made a tune with a load of metal gear solid samples and no one noticed or said anything. No one would have noticed the samples in this were MGS either if he hadn't said.

It's a great tune regardless.
