eyy if you feel like going up to ashevillle this saturday my boy is having me out to blast some grime & dubstep & dirty electro on a 6k rig... nothing crazy but should be pretty hype and plenty of gash there

I live in virginia beach and the only place I know that plays dubstep regularly is this place in Norfolk called The Wave...its like a "gay friendly" club so I think that keeps alot of people from discovering the dubstep there haha. Let me know if you find anything else cuz I want to get something going around here.

Here in Charlotte, NC there's a free monthly show put on by Mind Elixir called "Bass Church". Sadly, it's not strictly dubstep... but Mind Elixir always plays a dubstep set. A little heavy on the midrange shit, but if you're looking to see some live dubstep, it may just satisfy your needs. It's the last Thursday of every month at The Neighborhood Theatre.

Sadly, the only club I know of in NC that regularly hosted dubstep shows was Club 828 in Asheville. The owner of the building randomly pulled their lease though, so no more of that.

Bass church is always a great show. I just wish it was more focused on the dubstep rather than the other electro. The crowd gets sent into frenzies when the dubstep comes on and Charlotte knows how to get down. if only there were more dubstep shows in this area...
