i totally disagree, obviously you will never get back that original first dubstep experience, but if your looking in the right places you can find artists putting out new music that continues to blow your mind, but dub as a whole generally runs on the same scale, and has been around long enough that people have really worked it over, nothing beats the excitement of finding a new genre you love, but who knows, im sure there will be some new dubstep sub genres that might excite you again?

Dogs on Acid? Why?
I'm a dubstep fan, have been for years? I think Dubstepforum is probably the best place for a dubstep fan, not the worlds largest drum and bass forum

I agreed up to the part where you said "dubstep sub genres", that is something we don't need! Dubstep was all about creativity, and breaking boundries, but it seems like not enough guys are breaking those boundries anymore because there making "darkstep" or "liquid dubstep". Just going down the drum and bass route

I am quite frankly amazed they have dubstep on the isle of wight, last time I was there they were still throwing spears at each other and procreating with their tribal 'women'.
Can't I have a nandos instead?

Its a 10 minute boat ride from Portsmouth? The scene isnt huge down here, but theres a few producers, one of them is signed to DPR, and i'm in the midst of sorting out my contract with them aswell. Theres a few guys making things happen down there, and a couple of pirate/internet radio stations. We don't do bad!

sub genres are inevitable, infact i would say they are already in place, when dubstep started there was a few hundred tracks to go through, now there is thousands, its not like dubstep would be announcing it's mainsteam by separating its different sounds, it just means when your looking for some grime, you find grime, instead of electrostep or reggaestep... and for the steppers who just to listen to there polkastep and folkstep, its just that much easier
