Thanks to everyone who showed an interest in this. House and the more soulfull Detroit style Techno have both been in my life for the best part of 20 odd years I never tire of the form and I love them both!
Particularly nice at the moment as there seems to be an upsurge of these things, checking the excellent Cooly G mix in this part of the forum made me reminisce about the mid to late 90's house/techno scene. And just how many hugely influential tunes there were about, and there were loads that slipped under the radar, lucky I was buying vinyl back then as I have a truckload of these dancefloor devastators.
It really is timeless stuff.
Gonna be doing more along these lines, got a new one should be finished for the weekend so i'll let you know when it's up so you can have a listen and generally throw some more of your thoughts around.
