Alex Jones is a local hero here in Austin.

I've sat up way too many nights watching his public access show.
A good friend of mine has sat in on the show with him a few times as well.

I feel that some of what he says may be a little overboard at times but he is spot on about so many things!

I saw him open up a show for Doug Stanhope (durty comedian for those not in the know) here once and he had the crowd worked into a frenzy within a few minues.
There is a video of it on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_MNdfiBIuCc

Im in school atm and just got done telling my english professor about loose change.

I hate it when people just write off things like this as crazy.

Is it that hard to believe that a goverment would let something like 9-11 happen.

I wish I could remember the video where Alex was talking about David Icki. He says something like, "He has some really good ideas, then takes a huge shit all over it"

Long Live Alex Jones!

He's from Houston originally but lived here for quite a while.
Bill Hicks was a prophet, no question!

His best friend, Kevin Booth, still lives here. He owns all the rights to Bill's material. Swell guy. He has given me several bad ass Bill Hicks shirts and other merch. I am wearing my "Young Man on Acid" shirt right now.

RIP the mighty Bill Hicks!

icke has some pretty crazy ideas (lizards etc.) that im not really 100% sure about...

on the other hand he does have some pretty deep ideas that i can fully relate to: the theory of 'problem, reaction, solution' for example: if u wanna control ppl u 1st create a problem ('terrorists'), to get a reaction from the public ("our govt must save us from the terrorists") and that brings the solution (govt brings in 'anti-terroist' / i.e anti-freedom & liberty legislation).. im paraphrasing but u get the drift...

Big ups Bob!
I hold Bill Hicks in higher regard than any political or religious leader... 'Love All the People' is prob my favourite book.... some deep spiritual ish in there...

The start of the end for me was when I realised it was 1hr and 52mins long not 1min 52 secs. I may ultimately be missing out on something deeply profound here, but I guess I'll never know.

Icke was a former footballer (a 'keeper i think) who went into sports presenting on the BBC, then into politics for the Green Party, then flipped out on Wogan (BBC TV chat show) and said he was the son of god. he's since published books about the illuminati, and has theories that a dynasty of reptillian-type creatures control the world...
i have to admit, my icke knowledge is a bit flaky, so apologies to icke-heads if this is not quite right ...(big up james G for showing me the icke vids i have seen)

Think Hicks was a visionary in comedy, but I think over the years I've found him to be a tad preachy and although I agree with a lot that he says, he seems to be very blinkered in his outlook on certain subjects. The acid revelations business isn't really that different to a lot of similar stuff I've heard from various acid casualties through the years. When he's on form he's hilarious though and certainly changed the face of comedy. You texans should be very proud.

Robert Newman, of the Mary Whitehouse Experience, was heavily influenced by Hicks, and having seen him perform live a few years ago, I think in some ways he's actually far better - very funny, incredibly intelligent and never goes dumb to get an easy laugh. Shame he's not on the tv anymore, but given that he's moved to quite heavy anti-corporate critique, it's not that surprising. Entertaining and educational.

people are listneing to THE message mate..and hes not some crackpot with a messsage ..9 million hits a month to infowars.com webiste and top ten google video search proves that people are listening...he uses the slick style to compete on their level..obv most people in wont watch a 'conspiracy' video..so he slicks it out as much as his budget allows..hes a fucking don!!!this is for the people ..not commerse..

watch the video an look at the facts not the production values...FUCKING HELL
i appreciate you obviously like what the guy says. i understand and think that's great. but is blinkered reverence for this person just as dangerous as the new world order he rails against? isn't this his message to question everything you see, even him? i dunno
