Surely the 'shit' will fall by the wayside, if thats what it really is...(personally I agree with whoever says MC's shouldnt do funky...it really is bad...really bad...dont migrane skank me whatever you do...)

besides it'd be retarded to say that mc'ing, even skank tracks, over a funky beat has no potential. its all just a matter of quality control.

karizma even lifted some of dillas drums and made a beat out of em.

nuff respect to his basement boys era classics still. but glass houses and stones.

not really mate, history tells us that taking an underground smash and sticking vocals on it for thew mass market really isnt a good sound.
