...really? imo its paying tribute to the most influential artist of all time.
remixing is doing just that...and allowing his music to still be heard in a new fashion.

granted some of his songs were funkish...most were quintessential pop and even disco early on...the 4/4 beat (rigid?) is already there.

if this seems like a bad idea...i appologize, but the 3 remixes ive heard so far are far from fail 8)
