Looking at samson rubicons
http://dolphinmusic.co.uk/product/5671- ... -pair.html
what does 'overdue' mean? I was gonna get the 5as but with the discount there's only a 30 quid difference. jubscarz do you have the 5as?
is an M audio audio interface the best bet for under 200 quid? I'd like to be able to plug my decks into my pc too...

i have a pair of rubicon r5as and am in love with them.got them for very cheap too (2nd hand for 140 quid).
the sub volume in the r5as might be a lacking a bit but if you're getting the 6s it would be more than enough for bedroom production
and.....
bass traps.i need them BADLY.

strictly.
bit dark, oops
nothing wrong with krk rp6s, i love mine - well crispy on the top end. bass takes a bit of getting used to, but that's the same with all speakers, no?

i love your tracks! you're using cubase aye? i use it as well but everything comes from the mpc(but then i dont really make funky stuff either lol)
i have a mate who uses renoise to make 130 funky-ish stuff. check it
http://www.myspace.com/binsounds
subbass made by low end theory from renoise is HEAAAAVY.

to everyone whos posted here:
lift your speakers up to ear height using some cheap stands or bricks or something
you're listening to your speakers wrong and wasting hundreds of pounds!

love my krk's aswell!
I got the white ones with the yellow cone...slick!
Only problem I find is I have to sit too close to the speakers... problem with all bedrooms really.
