I have watched the Mala, Skream, Kode9, Skepta & Benga lectures and they are all so good (especially Mala's). Really want to do this sometime but don't really know anything about it.
Could someone enlighten me and do you have to be a sick producer to go to these or can anyone apply?

From what I heard anyone can apply so you should do it!
It does not hurt to try right?
Producing is not my strongest point but the things that are my points of strength such as photography and writing I have also made sure to include that in the application. Any sort of musical endeavour over the past 12 months!

Am i reading it right? It says postal stamp date not later than the 27th. So monday is d.day?
Gagging to appy but I dont have a printer at home and only just saw this
Can apply if its Monday, cutting it fine i know. Gutted I didnt see it before cos it would be amazing!

i've been extremely psyched for this since learning about it a few months ago. sent in mine a few days ago from all the way in the philippines (postage cost me about 40$!) and because of all my cramming (had to master 3 tracks AND answer the app in 1 night) i missed a page. thankfully the rbma people are very nice and i just received an email from them asking for my missing page via email.
i would highly appreciate it if the people reading this thread esp the producers (desto you da man!)who have been accepted before could give me feedback for a track i gave in for my demo...

I posted mine the morning after playing at square festival and included a shot taken forem the night b4! I only found out on the Fri I think, my girl filled in a rough copy on the way and when I go there I had to fill it in sat in a field lol!

P.S. It was the 27th that was the closing date, as long as your mail is postal stamped 27th your in with a chance to win

For some strange reason I thought the 27th was a Wednesday! I had to run around get all my photos take promo shots, photography, newspaper articles written, my serato broke down so I had to change my set last minute...my roommate found me in a crying heap on the floor. My Track was totally unmastered and later I realized the dude that I had collabed with had made some disagreeable changes.
But it's gone...and well I never want to see it again

I had this application since whenever they had it online. I actually didn't send one in...multiple reasons. I know it's worth a try, and I vaguely regret it....but by RBMA 2011, there's no question.
Fuckin sucks cuz let's say I did get accepted...my plan was to find away to FWD or some shit if the schedule allowed it LOL.

Man the greef I had doing it lol! Rough filled in on Sat on way to festival, played,3 hours sleep, drove for 6 to north Wales, played till 12, up n spent the morning finding a post office in some tiny place in Wales lol Check the Website, checked the label on my post, dated 27th so thats all that matters! Should be safe..
