...and I've noticed that alot of the young students never really have anything to say in critiques so I tend to speak up alot because if I didn't it would just be the teacher..for the most part..annoying on my part AND I detect some venom from the other more silent students as I am obviously all over the place..I mean - who the fuck am I right..
Well yesterday I wanted to bring up an issue about a girl who had a very complete and finished piece of art work...she was considering going back into the piece to define an obscured item in the background of the piece...
...and I pre-faced my question by saying to the teacher and class " That I am going to make a very republican sort of statement here.." and then went on to question - why she would want to go in and do more work on an element that really has questionable impact on the piece as a whole...
and one of the girls in the class said kind of smart assey
"because she wants to.."
Do you know how much I would have loved to fly across the fucking room and pound the girl in the mouth as hard as possible.
I mean, What the fuck was that about?
i feel your pain...
people often just want to come off as cool as possible by limiting what they say...usually because they cannot handle debate and are scared of looking stupid...
it was also her way of conforming i guess in her head.

Haven't had straight up beef in a while, the last one didn't fully get to work itself out because friends of mine intervened, I'm too old for that bullshit now. Getting into beef now = catching an assault charge. lpl

My 'friend' came over for a couple of months, he's playing ball over in the states, we did some coaching for a few schools, and he invoiced them, gave me abit of the cash and then was just blagging not givin me the rest of it, going I'll go to an atm inabit, didn't happen... all whilst he brags about how well off he is, fucking prick.

..here's my current Irish Origami...is not finished yet..
I don't have an etching studio nor an enamelling studio..so I think of attending art school as a way of renting facillities for awhile in order to determine - what exactly - I may need to purchase to have myself..
I know - who the fuck gives a flying fuck about trying to illustrate some stupid, piece of shit, kids story - especially using some ridiculously outdated, rare and expensive machinery...unemployment is so luxurious like that
...oops!..I mean, going to school is such a bore and a bother, this added step is keeping my genius self from imminent stardom and ridiculous financial sucess..
