Sides if theres only one skream does that mean Im an idiot for playing his track just because I cant afford to hear him play it? And maybe I cant write as well as he can? And if I live in smallsville idaho am I just pointless for bringing music into my town that people would never hear other wise?

You don't have to play out, but it would help a lot. Work on your mixing skills for a year or so, it's not the hardest thing really. It will help your production game too, as you can view your tunes from a dj perspective as well.
