1 or 2 good songs per album these past few years. I loved 'Winnipeg Is A Frozen Shithole', last release I loved all the way through. His best shit is GENERALLY released up to and including Doll Doll Doll, I would say, though. Greg Hates Care Culture, Shitfuckers!!! and Clearance Bin/Breakbeat Malaria most of all.
Great performances, though.

This. I love them both but I said this to my Snares worshipping mates at Glade and they were like 'fuck off'. But to me Go Plastic is the ultimate spaz amen album, its a fucking masterpiece.
Aside all the ones previously mentioned, the 3 greatest snares tracks in my opinion are.....
Befriend A Child Killer -

Can it get any darker?

Remember before he walked off at Glade 07 him playing this and it being absolutely insane, even more so from being twatted.

Snares goes Jazz. Fucking amazing. Picked up a copy of this back in 2004 and didnt realise how limited they were, meant to be wedgeworthy now. Going nowhere.
My favourite Snares moment is this from ATP 2003, was played on John Peels show. Befriend A Child Killer with a mad Japanese Man/Woman screaming 'Get your coochy over here' or something to similar effect over the top. Amazing.
Right Click & Save - 3 Minute Extract
He is a difficult fucker and I have had a run in in the past with him and to be honest I think he's a bit of a cock. But fuck me he makes music like nobody else on the planet and although I agree about the comments about quality control Id still rather listen to a below par Snares than fucking hundreds of other artists. The man is a genius in my mind. No doubt.
Still a cock though.

Mental how you guys all like the crazy noisy hardcore shit. A controversal opinion these days. I think Detrementialist was his best in ages personally, love his rave/jungle straight up dancefloor stuff.

Unfashionable perhaps, but I don't know about controversial. Didn't no one never done tell ya?

Damn dude! Rockin Szamar Madar during a dubstep set? Fuckin epic. 7/8 timing is what he writes in usually though. No such thing as a 7/3 time sig. ; )
Definetely love that album though, liked his dubstep tunes he did too, pretty clownin with the black sabbath reworking.

Whoooa. Completely forgot about "Dance like you're selling nails". That tune is wicked.
I quite liked sabbath dubs, sounds like a recording of pure evil.

yeah much as i love cardos breakcore/hardcore and i do mean love i only heard of him in 2005 so i'm not sure what qualifies him to claim breakcore is dead..he kinda jumped on it tbh

He RIPPED it at Glade this year. I love Snares on record, but live he's seriously hit or miss... seen him 8 or 9 times probably and I reckon 2 or 3 of those were great, the others were all pretty missable.

It's not so much people wanting him to do the same stuff he did 10 years ago as much as spending more time on tunes. Shit's changed too, though, since from what I've gathered, he has mouths other than his own to feed (though I honestly wouldn't know for sure), so it's understandable, but that's what mostly bothers most people.
I dig the the acid techno he's doing on Filth, I dig the jungle worship on Detrimentalist (some shit reminds me of Remarc), it's just that these releases don't work well as albums, a lot of filler.

That's all too true, but that's when you get when the 'elite' (Praxis records and all the affiliates) try to keep it from reaching a bigger audience to keep it a nice little distortion, gabber kick and Amen break saturated club and bicker over political bullcrap more than.. I don't know, make and enjoy music (didn't Christoph Fringelli get his panties in a bunch over some dude sampling some ragga vocals containing homophobic lyrics? God, who cares if the tune is good?). Blaming capitalism for
everything and blaming themselves for nothing.
I'm seeing you in September with Otto Von Schirach by the way. Are you still doing any breakcore stuff live or has your interest fully shifted to dubstep?
