I tend to write stuff in the blues scale, or the harmonic minor. I've started plenty in the major scale, but neer finished them. I'm gonna have to finish one of the tunes I've started in a major key just for this thread now...

biggest reason for me to relearn is that i'm
finally trying to learn to play keys (hence the interest in the beautiful new mpk)
i can still read rhythms pretty quick from being a percussionist, but when i have to read notes it looks like i'm trying to use a super secret decoder ring to decipher national secrets :burn:
and i only remember maybe a scale an a half from my bass playing days

how's the kx8? and what's the regular price?
Sam Ash has them for 299, everyone else is at 5-600 it seems

kx8 feels like a a piano gen listed 249-299 but in system gen 699
so gen a deal in store
mpk has faders/knobs and mpc pads so has me drooling
if ya can get a kx8 for cheap do it true piano feel
we have our 8 hooked up to a motif rack so i love messing with
