I feel bad adding to the fukin barrage of questions but..

I was just wondering how you get you mid range modulation? Like on 'Technetium' or 'If you cant Beat em'. Do you use midi automation on an LFO clock (i.e 1/4 to 1/8 etc) or do you just write a simple line and then chop the audio and add envelopes afterwards?

Do you work more with MIDI for your warping/modulated synth sounds or do you write a simple line in midi and then fuck it up/get the groove via audio cutting?

I remember having read that Hemisphere, is one of the tracks that you're most satisfied with and that you somehow managed to give it a personal touch, that you liked in a different way..
If it's true, I would love to hear more tracks from you in the same direction.. So the conclusion is: Less filth, more Hemisphere-alike!

Anyway, got a question for you. Have you got any tips for me on resampling? I just discovered this technique and I think you also use it (correct me if I'm wrong). If so, could you shed some light on a good method for this (basic workflow maybe)? I struggle with it.

The biggest mystery of your tracks right now is the intense presence and clarity despite the massive loudness and booming RMS, without any cacky distortion.

When you send your track over to the mastering house, what are your guidelines for insuring that everything sounds tasty with the limiting they apply?

You're able to get such rich, crisp high end without any clipping or frequency conflict. What's the secret to having all those sounds get along above 3000hz? Getting the hihats/samples/hirange synths to gel together in an undulating way just like the kick and bass..

First off mass and mass props for this! I was just curious if you had a reccomendation for the casual dusbtep listener who wanted to dabble in mixing and production start? get some instrument/theory experience? Any advice is appreciated keep the tunes bumping! Oh and also, you have a steezy LRG hat and you must be into gundamz?

I dont mean to be rude mate but as this has gone on for 11 pages there are some q's that have already bin answered. RESO has been kind enough to give his time to answer these, and he's been more than respectful in doing so. i got to about page 5 so far. making sure i read ALL of this! reso is the master. i myself have played the drums for about 5 years and i've realized it doesn't matter if you're the best drummer in the world, it still won't make your electronic dance music drums good. you have to know all the technical stuff. i can make really complicated drum patterns all day everyday, but they still don't sound that amazing just becuase i know nothing about compression, eq'ing, etc.

reso, you have mentioned you make some of your own sample cd's. have any of these ever been for sale? if not, i think it would be amazing if you provided a sample cd, either for sale or for free

ALSO. i really love your synths that you use. your style and sound seems soo... retro to me lol. to me, a lot of your songs sound like they would be in very early 90's racing video games, top gear to be specific haha. i LOVE this kind of sounding music, to me you just modernized it and made it banging! sooo good

and, major props for doing this. i shall continue to read this like a bible.
