@ geeza... really not my type of thing so i dnt think i can really give u much advice, but from wat i heard think u need to filter down that synth a notch and turn some of your hats and percussion down.Soz breh, not my cup of tea

@ tripwire-really feeling this, but just needs better arrangement imo,to link it rite and give that added atmosphere and vibe, like the drums aswell, who reversed effect suits it,nice tune man

Heres my WIP,went for a touch darker maybe than i normally do,would love some feedback and shall leave some for any who listens/leaves feedback

Thanks Juan

Same as with mine this really aint what i usually listen to but this is a good track so far. the sub is nice and the little sound fx in the there are a nice touch. only thing i would do is take the snare down a notch all in all brill track mate!!

Just reviewing this as I listen:

-Love the intro
-Snare pops out a bit too much (for entire track)
-Bass sound is lovely and warm, sounds a little bit like half a riff though
-Hats are nice, maybe just cut the snare and have them shine through every 4th bar or something as a variation?
-No real ending

Nice track though man, keep up the good work :)

1st attempt at some hip hop
reviewing as I listen:

-Less tail/reverb on the hats they sound a bit loose at first
-Glitchy sound is eargasm when it hits, but seems to lose time, something up with the cuts and rhythm interplay
-Make more of the square sound so its warmer, cuts through nicely now but jars

distinct sound though, would like to hear a rapper on top of it!

Reviewing as I listen

-Main bass is nice, horn carries it
-Break is beautiful
-Reintroudction of bass is good, I think maybe a bit too much going on hat wise - would feel great with an empty two-steppy vibe
-HAL quote, I like
-Reintroudction of bass feels sharp, maybe have a low cut that you gradually take off and have it appear to you out of the mist
-dislike the riser/air horn sound, seems cheap compared to a lot of the rest

On the whole its got a real good energy, maybe take some of the riffs you use - whack in a sampler, and double the length of them with associated pitch drop for a nice variation :)

A few comments on anyting from sounds to arrangment on this one would be great before I call it a day on it, you can probably notice the Kryptic Minds influence on it ;)

I've been mixing down in headphones, so might be getting a slightly distorted view of those. Do you reckon a touch of chorus/reverb along with lowering the intensity would do it or were you opposed to the entire lines?

Thanks for the feed Ses. Trip is right about the synths and I believe you and i are having the same problem with the headphones it seems alot of the error stands out over speakers.
So you think i should layer the samples through the lines to balance out the length? thanks again :D

With your track I think the problem was the breaking up of the different parts. Someone described it like a magician who makes the rabbit dissapear when his glamorous assitant does a twirl, your staring at this beautiful girl and dont notice the rabbit getting dropped down a trap door. Musically this is like a reversed crash hiding the cutting of a bass riff, or a riser bringing in a new line, all girl and no rabbit XD
