Anyone see the mini fight!

Proper stupid and killed the vibes for me. Not cool!

Dunno who that was behind the stage and the guy in the crowd was a fool. Pokes should have told them both to "FUCK OFF". Haha

I actually much prefered the other styles. Loefah and Moxie were the sets for me! Jay 5 dropped some bad deep tunes but Quest keep taking it towards the more bassy, harder and more dancefloor style which was a shame because the other stuff has more of a groove in my view.

Coki and Hijack were cool and when it was obvious Mala was playing last I had to call it a night as I was driving back to Crawley. Shame I missed Mala but there was no way I was hitting the road at 6.30am.

Seems like I have a different view compared to most people on here.

spydee wrote:anybody got any idea who made that remix of the redlight and ms dynamite tune that loefah dropped?
wasn't there so might be wrong but it was probably the mickey pierce remix given the sort of stuff he's playing now

thought everyone was amazing, had to leave halfway through hijack's set due to being knackered :( but wasn't really feeling his set anyway.

i have to say i thought Loefah's set was incredible... anyone know that tune that got pulled up twice?

Pokes: you gone to the cutting house and asked for STUPID lol

anyone know the name of the massive dubstep tune moxie dropped? it starts off with just the bassline and some ambience "doom, dum dum" repeated then the drums come in and it goes off.
would like to know, heard it a few times but dont know the name, hope the description helped.

selina wrote:1st DMZ night last night. And not what I expected. Turned up and Alice Moxie was playing. From her set to about just after 2am, the music was really shit. loads of this funky house style with a deep bass line was playing. admittedly during the quest set a few decent dubstep songs were played but that was it until coki played.

is this normal music for a DMZ night?
if i go to a dubstep night I really don't expect a few hours worth of this weird funky house style music.
Ahaha... "MOAR WOBBLEZ OR STFU!!!"

That's not it. Still had the vocal over the top, and was a lot less um soft, drums were a bit harsher than those if I can remember rightly.

Nice bit of elitism right there.

someone comes in and complains about not getting only one style of music at DMZ and I'm the elitist?

Well the OP said that "is this normal for a DMZ night?" so obviously they haven't been to many and don't know how it usually works.
