I think we must evaluate which cover is truer to what dubstep is and also what would make the CD stand out.

I think Blips are pleasantly ambigouis. The whole 'underground' thing being like a visual pun or something is almost a bit too try hard, whearas some simple cover proclaims 'music is dope, we dont need an special cover'.! Maybe...

The font on the last one reminds me of a classic Blue Note cover. What about 'DF01 MXN-T'?

Dubstep Upstarts 01 cover.

Wow.

That photo... off a parking lot undergournd, or basement...
i don't know what it is, but it takes the floor out from my feet. I feel afraid and in awe.

But yet its just an underground parking lot or something. Dubstep Upstarts 01 with that photo is beautiful, dark, edgy, simple.

I'm putting this on my destop. I'd pick up a CD that looked this way. Good restrained color in it too.

Love it. WOW.

Cheers all for the feedback,
Just waiting for everything to get a bit more finalised,
maybe get some official word before I have a proper crack at it.
Whoever scores the job will probably have to incorporate a few of the ideas posted in here, and tweak their own ideas a bit.
No point in blindly stabbing away at it just yet.
It will be a cool project to be involved in for the person that gets it.

P.S. gots loads of other original photos that could be used,
or I can shoot some new stuff to requirements.
