Just a little notch filtering (Preferably with a filtering plugin (Tone2 Filterbank) so you can sync it to a cool lfo and have cool things happen rhythmically too) could give it a little bit more motion and variation in the sound and would really make it sound top notch imo. Cool sound man!

That's a real nasty reese, narrator, sounds really good. As mentioned, some rhytmical notch filtering could add something cool to the sound.

OH HELL YEAH haha thats quite delicious my friend! But still I would like to hear a bit more filter variation. Its really cool IMO when reese basses sound slightly different each time they hit. If you have any LFOs on make sure you dont have them restarting and I still stand by my notch filtering comment! But that is definitely much fatter and murderous!

I'd actually say nay, seems like it lost some of it's punch.

It has lost a tad bit of dynamic/punch. Its all very loud and malicious all the time now which can be good or bad it depends on what you're going for I guess.

Here's a reese I've been toying around with from a new song I'm working on. Not sure if I'm 100% finished with it yet and its a little bit repetitive because its meant to sit in part of the song but you get the idea from the sound itself. Its not quite so hardcore as some of the other reeses that have been posted but I like it. Lot of filtering on this one. Soundcloud

kinda looking for something Noisia-esque i guess, havent really used a reference sound.
I double notched it with 2 camel phats in series and added a bit of the distortion (tube, mech and a bit of presence). it's hard to get that depth and rolling movement without cutting some of the mids when notching out those frequencies.

thats a nice Neuro sound alright.
maybe ease off on the resonance a little because it seems to be ringing a bit, you could always just EQ the high end if it gets duller.
edit: the ringing could be caused from what sounds like too much metallic noise in massive maybe?

I definitely agree with narrator about the resonance. Also, you might want to limit your sub or take it out and bring in just sine. It sounds very rumbly imo. Also the reese itself sounds a bit thin. I would beef it up with some more distortion, or layer it with another fatter reese.
anyways, there's some new reeses in a newer track I'm working on. I'm fairly pleased with it thus far. Soundcloud

Its actually 3 reeses layered. I dont want to beef it up I said its not as hardcore as some that other people are doing. I dont want all my sounds to sound like they're tearing the earth in half all the time! The sub actually wasnt supposed to bounce with it I'm not sure why its there. It is a normal sub bass track but its not supposed to be there. The reese isn't meant to stand on its own either so it has certain frequencies cut out so that things like drums and other sounds can sit in with it without frequency clashing.

I'm not sure it's a reese, please don't shoot me if it isn't. You guys know how to make the main sound in this tune?

Sounds like 2 reeses layered to me. The first one has the sub and most of the highs and sounds like it's had a big notch taken out of the mids, and then tapped on some saturation some lofi distortion or bit crusher. The second one give sounds almost more like a lead and has the bulk of the mids. Has a lot of what sounds like almost feedback in the signal. Izotope trash would be my number one recommendation on how to get distortion like that. Kontakt and ohmicide as well. Obviously this is a very vague statement, but that's what it sounds like to me in general terms.

I was saying just that serox.
I don`t get how Neurofunk style reece bases have been changed so much to just be more skril copying.
