Tbh, I don't have much problem with people stealing from an All You Can Eat.... but I definitely see a moral difference between any sort of stealing and buying/selling illegal drugs. Imported drugs (esp. Cocaine which I'd never buy) might have social knock-ons due to their illegality and the exploited hands they pass en route to your hooter, but I really don't see any problem with buying weed from a dude who grows it himself in Deptford. That's just making use of a local business.noam wrote:the amount of people on here who regularly do drugs and sell them (even to friends) slating this guy for doin the most petty crime is pretty jokewub wrote:You're still trying to justify a crime, and from your previous comments you seem to think that a lesser offence/offence against someone who can 'take the hit' is acceptable.
Am just trying to clarify if this is a sliding scale approach you're favouring, and if so where the end lies.
peoples bandwagon morality
no need to even justify robbin, if you want it, take it
no need to pretend its ok, if you get caught you're fucked and you're stupid and you take the penalty

it's not the same thing, if you've thrown something in a bin you are relinquishing ownership. If i threw something in a bin, I wouldn't be annoyed at anyone who took it for themselves for any reason. There is not a thing in my life I have ever thrown away that that would apply to.noam wrote:
its the same thing it was just made socially acceptable to a certain group of people by changing the name of it...
you take something you haven't paid for its THE SAME THING
just like squatting
the difference is a products potential retail value
the item i may steal may not ever get sold, it might sit on the rack and get thrown out and be repossessed by a 'dumpster diver'
its just safer and easier to go dig shit out the bins, but fuck it, i want a steak not a week day old houmous multi-pack
