Divane: Leave feedback first.

mtl6: Haha dope beat man! :Q: Just want that 808 to hit a tiny bit harder.

Houston Weather: Your trying too hard my man. The first tune has way too much going on. Take each piece of your tune at a time and let it all come together. The second tune could be good, but its way too reverbey.

Living_Tragedy: Mixdown mixdown mixdown I can barely hear the drums. All I hear is a snare that is way too boosted in the 200hz range. Turn things down and work on giving each element its own space.

Heres another WIP from myself. Just an intro and a few bars. Tell me f you hate it, tell me how bad it is, anything. Criticism is ALWAYS appreciated.

Really?
Stop being ignorant, I have made several posts in this thread where i left feedback to others.
Why do you assume I haven't?

Why do I assume you haven't? Look at the post above yours. Next time when you post your track either put your feedback with it, or say "I left feedback elsewhere in the thread" so that we atleast know you left it.

Now lets stop wasting space in the thread.

@ antman Cool sound, i like the tambourine kind of sound. Bass wobbles are nice, delays and reverb suit the track. Vocal samples are cool.

@Living_Tragedy Nice clean sounds. Huge sounding synths. Nice chords, progression is nice. Lead is nice, a bit stabby, i think it could use a little bit of verb to make the stabbyness not sound so empty.

@ mtl6 Nice track and nice use of vocals, bit too much filtering at the beginning, but that's down to preference. Its got them kind of hip hop hi-hats and the clap feels like it sits a bit too low in the mix. Pads and melody is nice. Good work.

Here is my WIP

@1stfiest: Don't think I have heard anything like this before, which is a compliment.. My only complaint, is during the clap/cymbal break down, add some ambiance, or air, to fill it in more, the break down feels some what empty..

@antman: Pretty good start for a WIP.. The end does start getting repetitive, but I always say "once your feeling the beat, and in the groove, that repetitiveness, doesn't exist anymore..

@Divane: The lead synth is very fresh, but the kicks meh, maybe sidechain them a bit more, cause they don't seem to cut through enough, in the mix...

My new EP "Candy Corn" drops Jan 10th.. It's a Remix EP, with this track + 4 other remixes of it...

Updated WIP! Test Master

SMOR3S: That is so fucking weird. But I could really use this to fuck with my friends. :6: It's odd enough to leave some one repeating candy corn and having it stuck in their head hahaha. The vocal-drop made me laugh for some reason (0.15), I like it! Make the melody a wee bit louder. LOL@YES I WANT SOME CANDY CORN HAHAHAHA. :W:

1stfiest: The intro should be longer imo, make it bigger too, it's really dirty! Your synths need more width and thats about it. Drums should be way punchier and snares snappier.

antman: Needs more sub, more movement in the hats, just a little more in my opinion. Try adding some percussion as well!

Just threw this together this morning. I like it honestly. Looking for ways to increase length and add variety guys

@DOTsound: Excellent Piano work.. Love the lead that comes in @ 0:55, and the fade out @ 1:05, into that spacey synth... I am starting to get into DnB my self :3 love the genre so much! This track is so chill, but I could dance to it at the same time...

Going to get someone else to do the "Yes I want some Candy Corn" Vox.. I am so monotone, and my Peavey i100 dynamic mic is meh, but I feel the track came out pretty decent...

@Stereoleben: Dig the intro piano line, very chilled out. Nice percussion that came in now. Not sure about the basses. They're abit dirty for the tune, you should try aiming for some cleaner basses, like KOAN Sound use in their chilled out tunes. I am actually looking forward to listening to the finished product :)

@SMOR3S: Horrible vocal sample imo. >.< This sounds like some japanese commercial tune, but with more sub O.o
Really starting to get on my nerves that vocal sample. ehm.... I am speechless.

@Dotcurrency: Intro chords are nice. Might want to lower the whitenoise. Not only the volume of it, but the use aswell :P
lead coming in at about 58 secs is nice, so is the 2nd lead. Beat is nice aswell. Mixdown wise it'll need some work. I don't know if it's something I'd listen to again, but it's not that bad.

@Antman: Sounds pretty empty in the intro here. More percussion could do. Proper dark, nice basses. Yeah, things to fill it up with like reverberant hits and stuff could do.

Alright, so this is a DnB tune I'm working on as an outro on my EP. Tops are a bit loud compared to the orchestral stuff and other drums, that I am aware of. White noise in the beginning is gonna be automated slightly differently aswell, don't like it that much as it is.

@SMOR3S - Dear god :o that sample gets really annoying man. Try adding some FX/vocoding maybe, and filter it in and out - the repetition drives me insane.

@Blinkesko - Moonlight Sonata inspired intro? Loving this man, bass and piano work really well. Good punchy drums too. Great "outro vibe", should definitely sit well at the end of your EP. Hit me up when the EP is done for sure :)

@dotcurrency - defintiely thought this was going to be a house tune on the intro, tone down your white noise, it really doesn't need to be as audible to keep the flow going. Nice drum work along with the synths, but occasionally the mix gets a bit hazy, work on layering the drums and synths better.

Only came here to listen to a couple of tracks, not really looking for feedback but if you wanna leave me any on this track I'd appreciate it:

Yes I agree with everyone.. The vox is a WIP still, but the main beat is pretty much set imo... I might go ahead and chop of the vocals like I did in on my "SMOR3S" EP track "PrinceWhateverer - Between Fairytales and Happy Endings (SMOR3S REMIX)"

@SMOR3S - sounding solid, it sounds like a cross between electro pop and some kind of trippy video game i cant put my finger on, good tune tho

@mthrfnk - really liking that guitar, mind if i ask where you got it from? nice track, would sound good in a sad part of a film

@blinkesko - could do with a couple synths to accompany/layer the piano, snares sounding nice

mthrfnk- This WIP is really coming along nicely. The guitars feel a little more natural and you pushed some of the 'cheesier' sounds to the background which benefits the track a lot. The vocals are lower and yet more prominent (if that makes sense) which is a good thing.

blinkesko- rising drums are nice, and the tops aren't as pronousced as you made it seem. Everything seems to be in order. Is this a break or did you sequence/record these drums yourself? The levels on the percussion is really good and the orchestral feeling is a nice change of pace.

smor3s- you and sib vicious should get together and make mega ultra bangers. That vocal gets super annoying really fast though, production is good, although (in my head phones), it feels like a good amount of the percussion is pushed to the left, which is cool for everything except the kick.

synkopate- sig tune is large man

haha, forgot that I was listening to this on my high-end boosting headphones....
Sequenced it all myself with various hits, i have a extremely eq'ed and abit pitched amen in there, but it's only filling frequencies, and cant really be heard that well
