People however embrace the arrogance and repeat the "murica" joke so many times that it starts to become their actual ideology. Not only do they become arrogant, but they are aware of how arrogant they are and they embrace it. They think they are entitled to be arrogant, because they're 'muricans - the greatest people in the world.

By the time they're 30-40, the mindset has become so cemented that they become hardcore conservatives, infatuated with guns and war, the exact thing that they used to make fun of when they made the "murica" joke. I've seen it happen to several of my friends. It's a very sad
condition.

He had some sort of mid-life crisis I think, started talking about weird underwear and bondage, then most threads he embarrassed himself in got locked or deleted.
