I'm sure if you'd have asked they would've had no problem telling you. I wonder what other deep dark secrets lie in Pizza Express :corncry:
The chicken is actually dog. A ploy to attract East Asian customers

well there would be less suffering in that case. but yeah, complaining about the way an animal is killed and still eating meat is sort of hypocritical imo

You can remove big ups by just pressing the big up button again on the same post :W:

They have though. To be honest the current form is a massive puppeteering operation by rich people, but the format is generally based on precedents.

So if you eat meat you should be ambivalent as to whether the animal suffers?

Na, but it is a bit hypocritical to pretend you care so much about a cow getting its throat cut when you're completely fine with eating meat on a regular basis...
Muncey wrote:I find it weird that people get so uptight about Halal meat but have no problem eating meat. I fully understand why people don't agree with unnecessary suffering purely for religious reasons but to assume that other meat comes from a fairytale like farm where all the animals are treated like pets then given a completely painless death is ridiculous, even if that was true it still doesn't really justify killing them.
Majority of daily fail readers who're causing a fuss about it are probably the same people who when asked "why do you eat meat" answer "CAUSE WERE ANIMALS ITS WHAT WE DO BRUGRHGHGHHHHH"

It's a question of interests, is the animal interested in any future goals? I don't believe so, if they aren't denying them a future isn't counter to an interest the animal has. Do animals have an interest in not suffering or being subject to pain? In this case I believe they are so torturing them or making them suffer is counter to an interest the animal has. This makes the suffering of an animal morally relevant in ways that killing them painlessly isn't.

I'm not actually talking specifically to Halal or Kosher meat fwiw I don't know enough about either but there's a clear distinction in causing an animal to suffer and not.
